Dr. Mariana D. Hoyos approaches aesthetic and reconstructive surgery with thoughtful planning, surgical precision, and an appreciation for proportion. Her philosophy recognizes beauty as individual, rather than defined by a single standard. At SETA, she honors that individuality through care tailored to your features, anatomy, and goals, with recommendations guided by your vision and her surgical expertise.
Born in Pereira, Colombia, Dr. Hoyos is fluent in English and Spanish. She values open communication and takes time to explain her recommendations, answer questions, and help you make informed decisions about your care.
Dr. Hoyos earned her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she also completed her general surgery internship. She then completed her integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Larkin Hospital in Miami. Her academic work includes peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international plastic surgery conferences.
Dr. Hoyos brings focused training and published research to gluteal augmentation with implants. As a coauthor of a study in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery examining implant placement with selective fat grafting, she has contributed to the surgical literature on this approach. Her practice offers both implant-based and fat-transfer options, allowing surgical planning to reflect each patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals.

La Dra. Hoyos obtuvo su título de médica en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Indiana, donde también realizó su internado en cirugía general. Posteriormente, completó su residencia integrada en cirugía plástica y reconstructiva en Larkin Hospital, en Miami. Su trayectoria académica incluye publicaciones en revistas revisadas por pares y presentaciones en congresos nacionales e internacionales de cirugía plástica.
La Dra. Hoyos cuenta con formación específica e investigación publicada sobre el aumento de glúteos con implantes. Como coautora de un estudio publicado en Aesthetic Plastic Surgery sobre la colocación de implantes con injerto selectivo de grasa, ha contribuido a la literatura quirúrgica sobre esta técnica. Su práctica ofrece opciones tanto con implantes como con transferencia de grasa, lo que permite adaptar la planificación quirúrgica a la anatomía y los objetivos estéticos de cada paciente.

Your procedure will take place at an accredited outpatient ambulatory surgery center. The specific location and arrival details will be provided as part of the scheduling process.
