Dr. Mariana Hoyos approaches aesthetic and reconstructive surgery with thoughtful planning, careful attention to detail, and a respect for the features that make you who you are. At Seta, every conversation begins with understanding your goals, your concerns, and what you hope to achieve.
A first-generation physician with a multicultural background, Dr. Hoyos values the trust built through open, honest communication. Fluent in English and Spanish, she takes time to explain your options and develop a surgical plan that considers your anatomy, priorities, and realistic expectations.
Dr. Hoyos earned her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she also completed her general surgery internship. She then completed her integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami. Her academic work includes publications in Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, as well as presentations at national and international surgical meetings.

Como primera médica de su familia y con una trayectoria multicultural, la Dra. Hoyos valora la confianza que nace de una comunicación abierta y honesta. Habla inglés y español con fluidez y dedica tiempo a explicar las opciones disponibles y a desarrollar un plan quirúrgico que contemple su anatomía, sus prioridades y expectativas realistas.
La Dra. Hoyos obtuvo su título de médica en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Indiana, donde también realizó su internado en cirugía general. Posteriormente, completó su residencia integrada en cirugía plástica y reconstructiva en Larkin Community Hospital, en Miami. Su trayectoria académica incluye publicaciones en Aesthetic Surgery Journal y Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, así como presentaciones en congresos quirúrgicos nacionales e internacionales.
